World War Two B-24 Tail Gunner Sam Mastrogiacomo has just realeased a new book For God and Country in That Order. In it, which he tells about his experiences with the Eighth Air Force's 445th Bomb Group. From a childhood in Philadelphia, through his work in the shipyards and his final training as a combat crewman, Sam tells his story with detail and humor. Emphasis is not only on combat but on the way the 'bomber boys' lived while in England. He also tells of the end of Big Time Operator, and the crews subsequent internment in Sweden.
